TJR Wrestling

Triple H suffered a serious injury during the main event of WWE Crown Jewel earlier tonight in Saudi Arabia. It’s a torn pectoral muscle that will require surgery. Here’s the official announcement from WWE.com about the injury:

During the epic showdown between D-Generation X and The Brothers of Destruction at WWE Crown Jewel, Triple H sustained what appears to be a torn pectoral muscle, WWE.com has learned.

As a result, The Game plans to return to the United States this week to undergo surgical repair.

Check back with WWE.com for more details as they become available.

It appears as though it was the right pectoral muscle of Triple H that was injured. I believe the recovery time for that kind of injury is about five or six months and since Hunter works out all the time, he’ll try to get back as soon as possible. That time frame also fits for a potential return for a match at WrestleMania, so that’s something to think about for the future.

I give Triple H a lot of credit for working the majority of the match while injured. He’s a tough dude. Best wishes to Triple H in his recovery.
