WWE News: Ronda Rousey reveals that she will be at Extreme Rules in the front row

Ronda Rousey was suspended from WWE Raw for 30 days following her actions on the June 18 edition of Raw. On that show, Rousey attacked Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss with the Money in the Bank briefcase and put her through a table with a Powerbomb. That’s not why Rousey was suspended, though. The reason for the suspension is that Rousey attacked Raw General Manager Kurt Angle with the briefcase along with referees. Angle told her that she was suspended for 30 days.

Rousey has not been on Raw since June 18, but WWE did post a new interview with Rousey where she answers some questions asked to her by Renee Young.

In the interview, Rousey explained how she is going to be at Extreme Rules in Pittsburgh on July 15:

“Even though I’m suspended from Raw, I’m not suspended from Extreme Rules. So, I’m going to be buying a ticket. It’s going to be a front row ticket.”

Rousey also spoke about how she’s excited for Alexa Bliss’ Raw Women’s Title match against Nia Jax at Extreme Rules.

Analysis: It’s not that surprising that WWE would find a way to get Rousey on the card at Extreme Rules. The suspension angle was done because WWE wants Rousey to wrestle on the bigger shows like WrestleMania, Money in the Bank and SummerSlam, but they kept her off Backlash. She’s not wrestling at Extreme Rules, but she’ll be there.
