WWE fans watching the 2024 draft got a big surprise as former Universal Champion Braun Strowman made his long-awaited return to Raw.

The last time fans saw Strowman in a WWE ring was all the way back at the 2023 WWE Draft when he teamed with Ricochet to defeat Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable and Otis. Braun Strowman underwent neck surgery shortly after and was forced to miss a year away from the ring.

The WWE Draft continued on Raw in Kansas City and Stephanie McMahon made a shock return to reveal the first-round picks. The second-round picks were announced by US Champion Logan Paul and his WrestleMania Prime bottle IShowSpeed.

Braun Strowman Drafted To WWE Raw

In the second round of the draft, Raw picked CM Punk and then followed up with Braun Strowman indicating that the giant star would return soon. However, Strowman was back sooner than many may have anticipated.

Logan Paul ran his mouth on the way to the ring explaining why he believed Jey Uso would lose to World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest at Backlash. That brought out Uso who was soon followed by Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day. Uso took the fight to both men but the numbers advantage proved telling.

Paul went to ringside where Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes was waiting and Mahomes gave Paul his Super Bowl rings to use as a weapon. Instead of clocking Uso, Paul accidentally knocked out JD McDonagh but Balor and Paul once again teamed up to take the fight to Jey Uso.

That brought out Braun Strowman who laid out Finn Balor with a chokeslam as Logan Paul fled. Strowman then confronted Patrick Mahomes at ringside before Jey Uso led him away.
