The Undertaker & Shawn Michaels Scheduled For WWE Raw On Jan. 9
World Wrestling Entertainment is currently advertising the return of The Undertaker to Monday Night Raw on January 9, with a special appearance by “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels. This will be the second episode of Raw in 2017 and will be held at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mark’s reaction: Undertaker’s appearance on Raw is interesting as it seemed like he was going to be a “Smackdown guy” once the brand split happened. Undertaker appeared on the last edition of Smackdown Live before this year’s Survivor Series and mentioned how Smackdown has always been his home. With Raw having big part time stars like Brock Lesnar, Goldberg and Triple H, letting Smackdown have The Undertaker seemed like a logical step. However, maybe Undertaker ends up being a guy that shows up on whichever show he wants, to challenge whomever he wants. We shall see.
