Things are heating up in WWE’s Women’s Tag Team Division, and a new report reveals major plans for this tag team at WrestleMania 42.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions from August to November of 2025 when they lost the titles to the Kabuki Warriors.

They have been in hot pursuit of the titles since then, even when RHIYO (Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY) held the belts after defeating the Kabuki Warriors for them on the Netflix Anniversary Special episode of Raw.

The current champions are The Irresistible Forces, Lash Legend, and Nia Jax, who defeated RHIYO for the gold a few weeks ago on SmackDown.

Flair and Bliss interrupted the pair’s celebration on SmackDown a couple of weeks ago and announced themselves as the next challengers in line for the tag titles.

The segment also saw Kiana James and WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia come out and ask to be in contention as well.

New Report Says WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match At WrestleMania 42 To Involve Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss

As per a new report from Bodyslam+, WrestleMania 42 will see Charlotte and Alexa (Charlexa) vs The Bella Twins vs the team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria vs The Champions, The Irresistible Forces.

Wrestle Features shared the report on X.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria defeated the Kabuki Warriors in tag action on the latest episode of Raw and are set to face Lash Legend and Nia Jax for the titles next week on Raw.

The Bella Twins, meanwhile, also entered the foray a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown when they gatecrashed Charlotte and Alexa’s title match with the Irresistible Forces.
