WWE Urged To Strip Jade Cargill Of Title Amid Real-Life Rhea Ripley Feud

Jade Cargill’s booking by WWE has been called out by this former WWE star.

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill got into a heated exchange with Elimination Chamber winner Rhea Ripley on X, where the pair, in a series of posts, took jabs at each other, which at one point got very personal.

Cargill made some controversial statements that crossed a line with Ripley, who fired back and later made a statement on her Instagram story revealing that she’s not friends with Cargill outside of work, calling Cargill out for “breaking the fourth wall”.

Other WWE stars like Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Nia Jax also joined in on the Twitter/X war in support of Ripley.

Since the events have unfolded, wrestling publications and analysts have been scurrying to figure out whether this was part of a storyline in the build-up to the WWE Women’s Championship match between the two, now confirmed for WrestleMania 42 after Ripley’s Elimination Chamber victory, or if it’s real-life drama unfolding on social media.

Former WWE Star Johnathan Coachman Calls Rhea Ripley Jade Cargill Twitter Feud A Shoot

On Coach & Bro, Coachman was seen telling Vince Russo that he thinks this war is a real-life exchange and not part of a storyline.

He also gave his opinion on Jade Cargill, saying that WWE should take the championship off her and instead have Raquel Rodriguez feud with Rhea Ripley.

I don’t think this is a work, Vince. I really, really don’t. I think it’s a shoot… I think it was an absolute shoot. I also think they should take the championship off of Jade. I want to see Rhea [Ripley] and Raquel [Rodriguez]. You know what people said on my feed? ‘Coach, we’ve already seen that match before.’ Not this version of Raquel; we’ve not. She’s grown up. She’s the first big girl they’ve had that they can lean into, and Kevin Nash has been helping.

Coach Continued by saying that Cargill has been a mistake financially for WWE, saying that the creative team hasn’t utilized her properly and suddenly featured her in the WrestleMania 42 main event.

I think Jade [Cargill] was a giant mistake financially, and Vince, at some point, they’ve got to get off the ride because they’re not using her anyway. Why do you not use her, Vince, and then give her basically a main event match at WrestleMania?

Rhea Ripley appeared on Raw this past Monday to thank IYO SKY and officially end their tag team partnership. She then urged IYO to hold Raw before announcing that she would see Cargill on SmackDown this Friday.
