The very personal Twitter/X war between Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill had multiple wrestlers voicing their opinions and joining in.

Rhea Ripley won the Elimination Chamber match and earned a shot at Jade Cargill’s WWE Women’s Championship.

Although there was no storyline or feud built between the two, things took a very different turn when Cargill responded to Rhea Ripley’s post on social media with a collage of herself main eventing every WrestleMania in the past 6 years and now the latest one.

What may have started as cheeky storyline banter got increasingly personal when Cargill accused Ripley of spending more time with creative to get her opportunities and even called her a second choice to Charlotte Flair, who was reportedly set to face Cargill at Mania originally, with The Storm even saying in an interview before the Chamber that she was “surprised” that Flair didn’t qualify.

Things got messier when other wrestlers joined in and began taking shots at the WWE Women’s Champion. Chelsea Green and a few others supported Ripley, saying that it’s hard to find a kind and talented wrestler like her.

Now, Nia Jax has chimed in in support of Green’s comments against Cargill.

Rhea Ripley Vs Jade Cargill Twitter/X War: Real Or Storyline?

This Twitter war between Ripley and Cargill is being eyed closely in the buildup to WrestleMania 42.

Although WWE has tried to brush it off as a “work”, Fightful Select reported after some investigation that this is indeed real and the comments have been made out of character by the two women.

They stated that what began as work-like banter took a turn for the worse when Cargill accused Ripley of politicking in one of the posts.

Ripley even posted a story on Instagram and later deleted it. In the story, she called out Cargill for breaking the fourth wall, signalling that this was indeed personal.
