Oba Femi did the unthinkable when he obliterated former WWE Tag Team Champions on Raw.

On the February 2 episode of the red brand, the War Raiders were scheduled to compete in a tag match. However, instead of their opponents, The Ruler came out, strutting to his theme song, all the while mouthing off at Erik and Ivar.

As soon as he got into the ring, Femi launched a brutal assault on the tag duo, first clotheslining Erik and then chopping Ivar.

He subsequently hit running uppercuts on both of them before launching Erik across the ring. He then hit a spinebuster on Ivar and headed for Ivar to hit him with his Fall From Grace finisher.

The utter devastation of the former WWE Tag Champions was not only a sight to behold, but also the company’s way to push Oba Femi as the next big thing.

On the following episode of SmackDown, Femi, who has yet to be assigned a brand, squashed Kit Wilson.

The War Raiders Earn Title Opportunity Outside WWE

The War Raiders were featured in a 3-way tag team match alongside Los Americanos and Money Machine on the February 14 episode of AAA on FOX.

The winner of the match would become the #1 contender for the AAA World Tag Team Championship, currently held by Pagano and Psycho Clown.

Erik and Ivar won the match by pinning Plata of Money Machine. They will challenge the tag champions on an unspecified date.

After the match, the challengers had a staredown with the champions, who were at the commentary table.

Elsewhere, Oba Femi was offered a SmackDown contract by general manager Nick Aldis, but before he could sign, they were interrupted by Kit Wilson.

Femi will face Wilson on the February 20 episode of the blue brand.
