WWE Tag Team Title Match Set For November 24 SmackDown

tag team titles Damian Priest Finn Balor WWE Tag Team Champions

The WWE Tag Team Titles will be on the line on SmackDown just one night before Survivor Series.

There was a high stakes tag team match on the November 17th edition of WWE Smackdown in Evansville. Three top tag teams battled in a triple threat match for a shot at the champions. It was a matchup between The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins), The Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland & Butch) and Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson).

It was a fairly even matchup most of the way with all three teams coming close to winning. At one point, Prince hit a leg drop off the top for a two count, but it was broken up.

The conclusion of the match saw The Street Profits take advantage of an error by The Brawling Brutes. Butch accidentally hit Holland with a Brogue Kick when Prince moved out of the way. The Street Profits cleared the ring of the others and hit the Revelation (spinebuster/neckbreaker combo) leading to Dawkins pinning Holland.

That win by The Street Profits means they will challenge Damian Priest & Finn Balor for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles on the November 24th edition of Smackdown in Chicago, just one night before Survivor Series.

Bobby Lashley celebrated with The Street Profits after the match. It will be the first time that former Tag Team Champions The Street Profits will receive a televised title match since being aligned with Lashley.

WWE Tag Team Champions Priest & Balor Will Also Be In WarGames Match

It will be a busy weekend in Chicago for The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest & Finn Balor. The duo will defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits on Smackdown and one night later at Survivor Series, they will be in the WarGames match with some of Raw’s biggest names.

In that WarGames match, Priest & Balor will team up with Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh against Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Jey Uso & Sami Zayn.

While it’s not official, it is expected that Drew McIntyre will be added to The Judgment Day’s WarGames team while a returning Randy Orton will be on the Cody Rhodes team.

On the November 20th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, there will be a WarGames advantage match between one member of the two teams to see who will have the advantage in the WarGames match at Survivor Series.
