WWE Survivor Series 2023 Headed To Chicago

The 2023 edition of WWE Survivor Series is headed to Chicago this November.

Survivor Series is a November tradition usually built around the American Thanksgiving holiday in late November. The first event took place 36 years ago in 1987 with the show being built around 4 on 4 and 5 on 5 elimination matches.

For many years over the last decade, WWE has made the event a Raw vs. Smackdown (and even NXT getting involved at times) event although that changed last year.

The WarGames match was brought to the main roster in 2022 with Men’s and Women’s WarGames matches taking place at Survivor Series.

It was announced today that the Allstate Arena in Chicago will host this year’s Survivor Series event on Saturday, November 25th. It was also announced that the Friday Night Smackdown episode on November 24th will also be at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.

The press release below doesn’t mention WarGames at all. Whether that means it will be a WarGames match or if they ditch the concept is unknown right now.
