WWE Hall Of Famer Sting’s Son Set To Make Blockbuster Debut
WWE Legend Sting’s Son, Steven Borden Jr., has wrestled only 10 matches officially and is now set to debut in a major promotion.
WWE fans from the 90’s will know Steven Borden a.k.a Sting as the exciting wrestler from WCW who wore face paint.
Sting was one of the top stars in WCW until 2001, when WWE acquired them. He then went on a run in TNA from 2003 to 2014 before joining WWE again.
He is currently under contract with AEW, where he joined in 2020. Despite retiring in 2024, he still makes sporadic appearances in the promotion.
Now his son, Steven Borden Jr., is set to debut in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).
WWE Legend Sting’s Son Will Make NJPW Debut
NJPW announced on social media on Wednesday that Sting’s son will compete as part of the NJPW Academy’s third anniversary showcase event at the LA Dojo on Saturday, March 21, at 2 pm local time.
Borden Jr. has been in dark matches in AEW and Ring of Honor (ROH). He made his debut last October in a tag match, which featured Darby Allin, Killer Kross, and JD Drake.
Apart from this, he has appeared on DEFY Wrestling two times.

NJPW roster member Fred Rosser has said that he has been training Borden, and AEW owner Tony Khan has said that developing Borden for the future is a major priority for him and everyone in AEW, even though there’s no clarity on whether Borden is under contract with the promotion.
