Top WWE Star Thinks Some Wrestlers Are Too Sensitive

WWE logo over fans

WWE superstars have to endure the harshness of fans, especially when they are working as heels or going against the top name on the roster.

In a recent incident, a fan heckled Roxanne Perez at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and the fan went viral. Later, Liv Morgan smoothed things over.

However, that wasn’t the first time someone got heckled, and it won’t be the last. The WWE Universe passionately expresses itself during shows.

Cody Rhodes gave his stance on WWE superstars being sensitive

The American Nightmare spoke to Brandon Walker, who asked him about the fan behaviour. Cody Rhodes explained that fans will express themselves and they will yell the basic phrases. It is important that wrestlers don’t become sensitive and put those feelings aside.

It’s very confusing to me that we judge fans so hard for coming to shows and yelling basic stuff. Like, ‘You suck.’ Why is that suddenly crossing a line? It’s strange. I don’t know.

I get that sometimes it can feel harsh, and maybe one day I’ll feel differently and think, ‘Okay, that’s mean.’ But right now, it just feels like we might be a little too sensitive. If you’re a wrestler in WWE, making good money, on TV every week — you’re doing well. You’ve got to put those feelings just a little to the side. You know what I’m saying?
