WWE Star Teases Getting Involved During CM Punk Vs. Roman Reigns At WrestleMania

This WWE star has been a menace since his recent return to WWE TV.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and #1 contender Randy Orton’s feud took a strange turn when an unexpected celebrity star was added to the mix.

The person in question was former WWE commentator Pat McAfee, who was revealed as the mystery caller facilitating Randy Orton’s recent heel turn. McAfee injected himself into the storyline by attacking Rhodes and calling him a corporate champion. He then revealed his alliance with Randy Orton and said that The Viper would “save the business” from its current state.

Pat McAfee didn’t just get a rebuttal from Rhodes, but also World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, who dropped a pipebomb promo on RAW last week in which he directly called out McAfee and asked him to tell his bosses (TKO) to lower WrestleMania 42 ticket prices.

Last Friday on SmackDown, McAfee had an answer to Punk’s promo, and he came out to deride The Second City Saint. He also announced a 25 % discount on WrestleMania 42 prices for night 1.

McAfee is at it again with a post on X talking about a possible involvement in the World Heavyweight Title storyline as well.

WWE Star Pat McAfee Teases Involvement In World Heavyweight Title Match

Roman Reigns recently posted a cinematic promo video on his X account, throwing barbs at his WrestleMania 42 opponent CM Punk.

Pat McAfee, who is representing Randy Orton in the WWE Championship picture, is siding with Roman Reigns in the rivalry for the World Title because he and Punk now have heat.

McAfee responded to Reigns’ post in which The OTC insults CM Punk by calling out the IWC (internet wrestling community), from where he is getting all the backlash for being included in the main event storyline.

He goes on to say that Orton will put Rhodes away, and then Reigns will defeat Punk to effectively “save the business,” according to McAfee.

It’s all starting to come together for you IWC nerds isn’t it? Your time is up… The Business is about to be saved by Randy Orton on Saturday night.. and then Roman will drive it home on Sunday Night

Although he doesn’t explicitly announce his involvement, this statement could hint that, after Orton, Pat McAfee could help Roman Reigns because of his hatred towards CM Punk.

WrestleMania 42 takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the 18th and 19th of April.
