A WWE star is being forced to step away from the ring after a significant setback.

Adriana Rizzo, who performs under the NXT brand, has revealed that she tore her ACL and meniscus.

Rizzo has faced similar hurdles in the past, which she wrote about in an Instagram post recently while breaking the news to her followers.

Here we go again… torn ACL and meniscus. A setback, not the end. As some of you know, I’ve had a string of bad luck with injuries — I tore my Achilles in 2023, partially tore my ACL four months later, and have been working on it ever since. After a year and a half, it finally gave out on me. I’m ready to attack this and come back 100% healthy for the first time in my WWE career.

The 26-year-old has been a regular on WWE NXT since making her debut in 2022.

The timeline for an ACL tear can vary between two individuals, but the average recovery duration is between 8 and 12 months.

Adriana Rizzo was featured in a backstage segment on July 8 with Tony D’Angelo, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and Luca Crusifino.
