Major WWE Superstar Suffers Devastating Injury, Misses SmackDown

A former WWE World Heavyweight Champion missed last night’s episode of SmackDown due to injury.

After seemingly turning heel, Aleister Black entered a feud with Damian Priest, who stepped up to defend his friend R-Truth. Black and Priest went head-to-head last week on the blue brand, but the match ended in disqualification after the Dutch star used a steel chair against the former World Heavyweight Champion.

Despite the match ending, the Harbinger of Fury continued to assault his rival, throwing him into the steel steps and hitting him with the Black Mass.

Aleister Black Provided An Update On Damian Priest On This Week’s WWE SmackDown

In a backstage vignette aired this week on SmackDown, Aleister Black addressed his attack on Damian Priest. He explained his actions towards the former World Heavyweight Champion, stating that he believes in the use of violence to stop greater violence. He added that his belief does not make him evil, because there is no such thing as good or evil.

The former NXT Champion proceeded to explain the difference between good and evil from his perspective, pointing out the crowd’s reaction to Priest wanting to put him through a table. He also revealed that Priest had suffered a hairline fracture.

The entire crowd cheered and laughed in awe as he was planning to throw me through a table. I’m not an eye for an eye kinda guy, Damian. No, I’m an eye for a head, an eye for a limb, and eye for a life kinda guy. And that’s why I exacerbated the violence I put upon you. And I even told them that violence begets violence. And where is he now? Oh yeah, that’s right. He’s sitting at home nursing a hairline fracture.
