Aleister Black Brutally Attacks Former WWE World Champion

Aleister Black

Aleister Black wasn’t happy about a loss on WWE SmackDown, so he took it out on a former World Champion.

For several weeks, Aleister Black was frustrated by R-Truth, aka Ron Killings, interrupting him in backstage segments. The two men finally had a match on WWE SmackDown in Nashville, where they got a chance to settle their differences.

Since his return to WWE, Black has secured several significant wins in singles matches, but he was unable to do so against the veteran Truth.

The match spilled to the floor, where Aleister Black went for a moonsault, R-Truth avoided it, and Truth shoved Black into the ring post. Truth grabbed a steel chair from ringside. Back in the ring, Black stepped on the chair and Black hit Truth with a knee to the face. That led to Black grabbing the chair. Referee Ryan Tran told Black he’ll get DQ’d if he used the chair.

The referee took the chair from Black, so Truth did an O’Connor roll-up and sat on top of Black for the pinfall win in a match that only went about three minutes.

A victorious Truth left the ring looking serious, while Black was furious about the loss and followed him backstage.

Damian Priest Trying To Reason With Aleister Black Was A Mistake

A third man has been involved in the Black-Truth storyline: Damian Priest. We have seen Priest talking to Black backstage numerous times about leaving Truth alone since Truth is a complex guy, and Priest is his friend.

After the match, Aleister Black was shown walking backstage in pursuit of R-Truth. That’s when Priest showed up. Priest said you lost, and it’s over, so Priest told Black to let it go. Black shook his hand. Black said on second thought…and Black hit Priest with a knee to the head. Black threw Priest into an equipment case and kicked him in the ribs. Black hit a Black Mass kick (his finishing move) to knock Priest down. Black said now he can let it go.

That attack by Black on Priest should likely start a new feud for them, and it’s a good thing for Black since Priest is a former WWE World Champion. It also could mean that Black will be a heel in WWE moving forward since Priest is a babyface.
