Another WWE star’s WrestleMania status is unclear after an injury scare.

In the main event of the March 15th episode of SmackDown, Bayley took on Dakota Kai hoping to get revenge after she was betrayed by her former friend.

Unsurprisingly, the match ended in chaos and a disqualification after Damage CTRL interfered. After the match, the group continued to attack Bayley despite Naomi’s best efforts to try and even the odds.

Fans were quick to notice that Asuka was limping during the segment and she was subsequently pulled from live events on March 16th and 17th.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Asuka was pulled from the shows as a precaution but she will be undergoing more tests to determine the severity of the knee injury. The star is currently one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Kairi Sane.

Asuka and Kairi Sane won the Tag Team Titles on the January 26th episode of SmackDown with a win over Katana Chance & Kayden Carter.

Raquel Rodriguez Pulled From WWE Active Roster

The news comes as it was revealed that Raquel Rodriguez has been removed from the active roster. Rodriguez has been out of action since late February having missed most of December and early 2024 after being diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS).

Despite fears that he could miss WrestleMania, Seth Rollins has won his own fitness battle, overcoming a knee injury in time to compete twice at the spectacular.
