This new WWE entrant has not been received with the most praise.

WWE showed the fans a human-sized crate that was delivered to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce’s office a couple of weeks before the Elimination Chamber PLE.

On the crate, it said “do not open until 2/28/26 which was the date of the PLE.

There was speculation that WWE legend Chris Jericho could emerge from the crate, or there could be a major surprise that WWE had planned.

Instead, on the day of the PLE, the crate was opened to reveal a new signing from the indie wrestling circuit: wrestler Danhausen.

Danhausen has a goth-comedy-like gimmick where he curses people, and bad luck befalls them. This isn’t something most fans and critics could easily get behind, and they were left disappointed by the reveal.

WWE Veteran Calls Danhausen a C-Level Talent

On Johnathan Coachman’s YouTube channel, Behind The Turnbuckle Studios, WWE veteran Tommy Carlucci recently spoke about Danhausen.

Carlucci said that Danhausen is entertaining and funny like R-Truth, another one of WWE’s comedic characters, but went on to call him a C-level talent, suggesting that he belongs in the lower-mid or lower card of wrestlers.

Yeah. I was wondering how they were going to bring him on Raw tonight. It was perfect the way they did it. He’s actually pretty entertaining and funny.

He reminds me a lot of our truth. Can you imagine a backstage promo with him and R-truth man? If it’s written right, it could be but I think he’s very entertaining. I don’t know what his work and his ring looks like.

You know, I think he’s more of a C-level talent. That’s why him coming, excuse [clears throat] me, out in the box and, you know, making it like Jericho liked, which he’s nowhere near Jericho at all as you know. But I think he could be pretty entertaining. See how far they push him. I hear his merchandise went off the wall at AEW. Like they sold a lot of his merchandise. So, we’ll see what happens to him.
