Major WWE Star Issues Threat To Jacob Fatu; It’s Not Roman Reigns
Jacob Fatu has been put on notice by a major WWE talent after his actions on Raw.
On May 11, Fatu was scheduled for a non-wrestling segment with Roman Reigns, where he would acknowledge Reigns as the Tribal Chief following his loss at Backlash.
Even before the acknowledgement ceremony, Jey and Jimmy Uso were seen backstage working on a contingency plan to ensure things did not go sideways between the bloodline members.
While Jimmy accompanied Reigns to the ring, Jey stayed back awaiting the arrival of Fatu. Jey’s planned to convince The Samoan Werewolf against going to the ring, knowing his hot-tempered nature.
On their way to the ring, Jey told Jacob to be smart about his plans, as they might have repercussions. Fatu, however, paid no heed to his words and kept walking.
When they reached the Gorilla Position, Jey stopped Fatu in his tracks by pulling him back. Without saying much, the 34-year-old laid out the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion with a few vicious headbutts.
Jey Uso Threatens Jacob Fatu For Attacking Him On WWE Raw
Following Jacob Fatu’s assault of Jey Uso on WWE Raw, it is safe to assume that the relationship between the bloodline members is on the precipice of breaking out.
It was further amplified by Jey Uso’s reaction on social media as he took to Instagram Stories to share his feelings.
The 40-year-old wrestler shared multiple Stories and wrote things aimed directly at Fatu.
Imma beat yo a** before the Chief do.
He later claimed that he was only trying to ease the situation between the family members.
I was jus trynna help yo scary a**.
With the Fatu-Reigns feud set to continue after Backlash, it remains to be seen what role The Usos play and whether or not Jey manages to live up to his words of taking Fatu out of the equation.
Jacob Fatu Destroys Roman Reigns
Jacob Fatu has been clear about what he expects to get out of his feud with Roman Reigns.
In the lead-up to their match at Backlash, Fatu explained to Reigns that he was doing it for his family so that he could ensure a better life for them.
Before heading out to the ring, Fatu made it clear that he was not coming out to ‘acknowledge’ Reigns. On his way to the squared circle, he also took out Jimmy Uso.
He then walked to the ring, kick-starting a brawl with the OTC. Again, Fatu’s Tongan Death Grip came into play, which he used to neutralize Reigns, despite his attempts at getting out of it.
Despite Reigns using a steel chair, Fatu managed to get back on his feet and continued with his offense. As he attempted a Superman Punch, Fatu applied the Tongan Death Grip.
After neutralizing Reigns, Fatu put him through the commentator’s desk with a Powerbomb.
He then went into the ring and celebrated with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as the show went off air.
