Chelsea Green may be the most misunderstood wrestler in WWE.

While at face value, she looks like a goofy character that would never ascend beyond her current standing on the roster, Green, for everything she brings to television, might be one of WWE’s most prized assets.

In early 2026, she gained the support of fans and her wrestling peers when she was portrayed as an enhancement talent by the company’s higher-ups.

Even The Undertaker advocated for her push during one of his Six Feet Under podcasts, claiming that she was underutilized and that she had the “it” factor.

Before joining the Stamford promotion, she achieved success as Laurel Van Ness in Total Nonstop Action (TNA) and Lucha Underground, where she once competed in an intergender match against Penta.

Her first appearance in the company was as Megan Miller, Daniel Bryan’s physical therapist, who confessed to having an affair with Bryan during his wife Brie Bella’s feud with Stephanie McMahon.

On SmackDown, Chelsea Green is a 2-time former Women’s United States Champion.

Green recently returned to television after being out of action due to a legitimate injury she sustained in early February. After facing constant rejections from Tiffany Stratton to form a tag team, the two superstars now appear to be on the same page.

Tiffany Stratton On Her Hesitation To Be Paired With Chelsea Green

Tiffany Stratton enjoyed a successful 2025, spending most of the year as the Women’s WWE Champion and only suffering 2 losses on television.

After her title loss to Jade Cargill at November’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, she took a break to cope with an injury before resurfacing at the 2026 Royal Rumble.

She was initially involved in a feud with Chelsea Green, with both superstars being featured in backstage segments on multiple SmackDown episodes.

Green even tried to recruit her into her Green Regime, only to see her offer get turned down. Since then, she has assisted Stratton a couple of times during the latter’s feud with Jade Cargill, which seemingly resulted in a change of heart on Stratton’s end.

While virtually speaking on the Good Karma Wrestling podcast recently, Stratton gave an honest answer about why she initially hesitated at the idea of pairing up with Chelsea Green, although clarifying that she loves it now.

I love working with Chelsea Green. She is somebody that makes the most out of any segment. Any match, any segment, she’s going to make her TV time worthwhile. I love being paired with Chelsea.

I think there was a little bit of hesitation there because I felt like for the last year, it kind of felt like she would kick me when I was down. She wasn’t really ever wanting to be my friend and then all of the sudden, she wants to be besties with me. I was a little hesitant at first and I think now she’s kind of won me over a little bit. I’m coming around. I really enjoy being with her, working with her, talking with her. Very interesting person, I love her. [H/T: Fightful]
