WWE Star Has Made Final Appearance For The Company

A former champion in WWE has likely made his final appearance with no comeback planned any time soon.

There was a big angle on the June 10th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw as Bron Breakker decimated Ricochet outside the arena.

The scene with Breakker and Ricochet saw them fighting in the parking lot area. Breakker tossed Ricochet into a tractor-trailer and also threw Ricochet like a lawn dart into another truck that was there. They also went up some steps, which led to Breakker giving Ricochet a powerslam onto the windshield of a car.

After the attack, Ricochet was taken away in an ambulance. Ricochet’s fiancee Samantha Irvinm who is a WWE ring announcer, left with him. Irvin was back on ring announcer duty this past Saturday at Clash at the Castle.

The reason for the attack was because the former Intercontinental Champion Ricochet is set to leave WWE due to his contract expiring and he chose not to sign a contract extension. By not choosing to sign a new deal, Ricochet will end his six-year run with World Wrestling Entertainment that started in NXT before he went on to the main roster.

Ricochet Is Likely Not Appearing On WWE Television Again

Following the Breakker-Ricochet angle on Raw, there was some speculation by fans that Ricochet could come back to Raw television for revenge.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite, people within WWE claim that it’s not happening and he’s done although Ricochet is still listed on WWE’s internal roster. As for when he will be contractually free, that’s expected to be in July at some point.

As for what’s next for Ricochet, there’s a lot of speculation that he could be headed for All Elite Wrestling soon. Jim Ross, the legendary AEW announcer, believes that Ricochet would be a good fit on the AEW roster.
