In March 2026, The Judgment Day members booted Finn Balor from the WWE faction.

Balor’s ouster was not a peaceful transaction, but involved a brutal beatdown, including an attack by his long-time protege, JD McDonagh.

Dominik Mysterio was livid that Balor refused to help him during his Intercontinental Championship title defense against Penta on the March 2 taping of WWE Raw, which cost him the belt.

In reply, Balor called him a pr*ck, which led to Mysterio shoving him. Finn Balor briefly neutralized the current AAA Mega Champion by hitting a Sling Blade.

However, just as he was about to hit him with a front dropkick into the corner, McDonagh stepped in and viciously clotheslined him. The numbers game then came into play, as Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, too, took their shots.

“Dirty Dom” then hit Balor with a 619, but not before loading his shoe with the ring bell hammer. He then hit a Frog Splash while a chair was placed over the Irishman.

Roxanne Perez Discusses Finn Balor’s Removal From WWE Faction

Finn Balor tried to recruit Roxanne Perez into The Judgment Day during her WWE main roster debut last year, which showed some form of association between the two superstars.

While the storyline did not explore the origins of their friendship, they were a part of the group for nearly a year.

Also, Perez was dealing with a legitimate health situation when Balor was kicked out of the group. When she finally returned to TV, she was brought up to speed on Balor’s ejection by the current WWE Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan.

Meanwhile, Balor tried to talk some sense into The Prodigy, telling her to be wary of her peers, who could betray her at any time.

Despite the warning, the 24-year-old has decided to stay with her WWE family.

While recently speaking on Complex Graps The Podcast, Perez shared her thoughts about Balor’s removal from the group and how she was initially confused by the way everything played out.

In case people don’t remember, I was actually not around when Finn Balor got taken out of the Judgment Day, I actually had no idea this was going to happen.

It definitely made me feel a kind of way when I came back to the clubhouse and I realised that Finn was gone and I had to watch what happened to him. Mostly because we do say we’re family, Judgment Day is a family, so part of me did feel a little indifferent when I saw the initial attack.

Perez acknowledged that Balor saw something special in her, which is why he tried bringing her into the faction. She also revealed that she decided to stay with The Judgment Day because she wanted what was best for her.

But honestly I had to sit and think about it, and as much as I wanted to empathise with Finn Balor, because he did see something in me and he did bring me into the Judgment Day.

I kind of question why he brought me in in the first place, was it because he saw how good I was, or was it because he saw me as a pawn? I don’t know, so I had to do what was best for me and what was best for me was standing alongside the Judgment Day.
