A legendary WWE star bid adieu to wrestling fans during an overseas show.

AJ Styles had also confirmed on the Crown Jewel Kickoff Show that he would be retiring in 2026 and wouldn’t step inside the squared circle again.

Meanwhile, the Stamford promotion has wrapped up its Australian tour with a show in Melbourne, which comprised a series of exciting bouts.

Styles himself faced El Grande Americano and registered a win on the back of his loss to John Cena at the weekend premium live event.

The 48-year-old superstar spoke to the local fans after the match, thanking them for their support through the years.

I don’t have a lot of time, and I’m not supposed to be on this microphone right now. But I just want to thank you guys for cheering, some of the best fans in the world. Here’s the truth: I’m probably not going to be seen again in a singlet like this anymore. So, I just wanted you to know from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much.

AJ Styles To Challenge For WWE Tag Team Championship

The October 20 WWE RAW episode will come from Sacramento and feature various high-profile matches.

Also on the show, AJ Styles will team up with Dragon Lee to face The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

The match was set up on October 13, when, in a backstage segment, Dominik Mysterio interrupted a chat between RAW GM Adam Pearce and Styles.

Mysterio will also be in action, as he defends his Intercontinental Championship against Rusev.

Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch will put her title on the line against Maxxine Dupri.
