WWE Slammed For Big Jacob Fatu Decision

Jacob Fatu was involved in a controversial segment on RAW this week.

Jacob Fatu has been one of the fastest-rising stars since he made his debut on SmackDown. He got over with the fans and eventually broke out of Solo Sikoa’s MFTs to pursue a singles run. Jacob has been a dominant force in the ring.

After WrestleMania 42, Jacob Fatu made it clear that he was after Roman Reigns and the World Heavyweight Championship. However, after Fatu lost the Tribal Combat to the OTC, he joined The Bloodline. Since then, he acknowledged Roman Reigns and has been following The OTC’s orders. This past week on WWE RAW, Jacob Fatu did the unthinkable when he dragged comedian Eric Andre over the barricade and assaulted him with multiple splashes in the ring. WWE officials even came out and tried to stop him, but nothing worked. This move caught the fans off guard since Jacob is supposed to be a babyface, and attacking a comedian is a heel move.

Vince Russo was unhappy with Jacob Fatu’s segment on WWE RAW

During a recent edition of Behind The Turnbuckle Studios’ The Coach & Bro Show, Vince Russo said that WWE has been trying to build Jacob Fatu as a babyface for months. However, they ruined that effort when Fatu attacked Eric Andre, which is a heel move. He slammed the sports entertainment juggernaut for complicating Jacob’s character further.

“We’re building Fatu as a babyface for months and months and months and months. Now Roman Reigns gives him the Lola Falana, and now he’s killing a freaking comedian. Fatu’s killing a comedian and splashing him 18 times. So we built him for the last six months or year to be a babyface, and now he’s a heel, like, bro, again. I’m assuming they know what they’re doing and they’re going someplace, and I have no idea because I’m watching this on Monday night. I’m like, what are you guys doing? I don’t understand any of this,” said Vince Russo.

It remains to be seen if there will be any consequences for what the Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu did to Eric Andre on WWE RAW this week.
