WWE Selling Drew McIntyre Shirt After Viral Social Media Post
On January 9, 2026, Drew McIntyre won the Undisputed WWE Championship by defeating Cody Rhodes.
The 40-year-olds have been feuding since last year, and at the turn of the year, their rivalry got only more personal with McIntyre constantly taking swipes at Rhodes’ personal life.
Their war of words ultimately culminated in a Three Stages of Hell match, the stipulations of which were set by The Scottish Warrior.
Drew won the first fall in a traditional wrestling match, whereas Cody won the second in a Street Fight.
The last fall took place inside a steel cage, during which Jacob Fatu returned from a hiatus and attacked Drew McIntyre. Cody Rhodes tried to intervene, but was instead neutralized by The Samoan Werewolf.
Taking advantage of the distraction, McIntyre snuck out of the cage through its door, thus becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion.
The Scotsman celebrated by posting a picture of himself on Instagram with the title belt in his bed. WWE has now converted the photo into a t-shirt, making it available for purchase.
Drew McIntyre Creates Nuisance On WWE SmackDown
Drew McIntyre was up to no good on this week’s WWE SmackDown.
On February 20, Nick Aldis informed Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu that he had given McIntyre the night off, as he had invited trouble by interfering in last week’s main event match.
However, McIntyre decided to stay back and booked himself the VIP booth. He goaded both Rhodes and Fatu, getting under the latter’s skin. Aldis instructed security to get the champion out of the building.
After being confronted backstage by Aldis, Drew McIntyre said he was leaving.
However, he made his presence felt during the main event match between Randy Orton and Aleister Black. In the closing minutes, he appeared from the audience and hit Orton with his championship, costing The Viper the match.
Randy Orton has the opportunity to challenge McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship by winning the men’s Elimination Chamber match on February 28.
