WWE Simply Canceled Blockbuster WrestleMania 42 Plans For Tiffany Stratton
Tiffany Stratton, one of WWE’s top stars, is no longer on the WrestleMania 42 card, and here’s why.
Tiffany Stratton made her return to WWE TV during the women’s Royal Rumble match at the eponymous PLE after a hiatus due to injury.
Stratton was at the top of her game as WWE Champion, but had to vacate the title in September last year due to an injury, and now Jade Cargill goes into WrestleMania 42 as champion against Rhea Ripley.
Stratton has been regularly competing on SmackDown since her return in January, and was reportedly even slated to battle it out against Giulia and Jordynne Grace, likely for Giulia’s United States Championship. However, WWE has scrapped those plans, and neither of these women now has a match at the Show of Shows.
Giulia, who won the United States Title after defeating Chelsea Green on the first episode of SmackDown this year, has featured in a few matches since, but had one in March, which wore her out. This led WWE to pivot because Giulia had to pull back her routine due to full-body pain.
The matter was discussed in a recent Self-Made Session by Self-Made Pro. He reveals that in one of the versions of the WrestleMania 42 card, it was Giulia, Tiffany Stratton, and Jordynne Grace in a three-way bout.
She’s not at Mania. She was on the card like a month and a half ago—but she was on it. In fact, in one of the versions of Mania, it was going to be her, Jordynne, and Tiffany in a three-way.
WWE Star Tiffany Stratton Has Been Feuding With Chelsea Green
Stratton has been working wth the mid-card since her return, most notably with Chelsea Green, with whom she developed a small rivalry following Green’s ankle injury in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match with her, and whom she has recently decided to side with.
Stratton not winning the Elimination Chamber match surprised WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill, who was almost certain that she would be the one facing The Storm at WrestleMania 42 for the Title.
Instead, Rhea Ripley won the Chamber match and is now in a heated feud with Cargill in the build-up to one of the main events at WrestleMania 42.
WrestleMania 42 takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the 18th and 19th of April.
