WWE Quietly Releases The Rock’s Daughter’s Girlfriend – Report

A new report claims that Tatyanna Dumas, Ava’s girlfriend, has been released by WWE.

Ava, who served as the general manager of the developmental brand NXT, announced on January 30 that she had made her last appearance for the company.

Sharing an update on Instagram, she thanked everyone who had supported her over the years. She also admitted that while the decision was not easy, it was a turning point in her life.

After training in WWE’s Performance Center, she debuted on NXT in 2022. As a performer, she is known for her tenure in the heel faction called Schism, of which Joe Gacy was also a part.

By 2023, the faction slowly disbanded until Gacy declared in October that Schism was dead.

It subsequently led Ava to get a backstage job, where she was the on-screen assistant of Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels.

In January 2024, she was made NXT’s general manager, thus becoming the youngest person to serve in that role.

A recent report by Wrestling Observer stated that Ava’s girlfriend and NXT star, Tatyanna Dumas, was quietly released by WWE.

Speaking on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer broke the news while claiming not to know for a fact that that was the reason behind Ava’s departure.

One person had contacted me and mentioned Tatyanna Dumas, who is her girlfriend, was cut, which we didn’t hear just a couple of weeks ago. They weren’t quite saying that’s why she quit but it was something that people put one and one together that maybe that had something to do with it, maybe it didn’t, I don’t know.

Ava was currently involved in a storyline with Tony D’Angelo, with the latter running a riot since returning to the company at NXT Deadline in December.

Meanwhile, Dumas’ last time wrestling in the company was during an NXT House Show in the same month.
