WWE RAW: Two Blockbuster Matches Officially Announced For Backlash
Two huge matches were made official for Backlash on tonight’s WWE RAW.
Several months ago, Bron Breakker led a coup within The Vision, ousting former leader Seth Rollins. Earlier this year, The Visionary returned to seek revenge on the second-generation star and the rest of the faction.
Although Breakker suffered an injury ahead of WrestleMania, he made his comeback at the Show of Shows, costing Rollins his match against The Ring General, Gunther.
Tonight on RAW, The Visionary called out his former teammate to the ring. Following a heated confrontation, it was officially announced that the two will finally clash next month at Backlash.
IYO SKY Vs. Asuka Will Also Happen At WWE Backlash
Much like Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins, Asuka and IYO SKY have been feuding for several months. On RAW, The Genius of the Sky answered Becky Lynch’s open challenge for the Intercontinental Championship.
Despite coming close to dethroning The Man, SKY ultimately lost the match after interference from Asuka. The Empress then launched a vicious attack on her rival. Later in the show, WWE confirmed that the two will go one-on-one at Backlash.
