WWE Raw Star No Longer Dealing With Injury

WWE monday night Raw set

A wrestler on the WWE Raw roster that some people believe might be out of action due to an injury is actually cleared and ready to compete.

It has been nearly two months since Johnny Gargano has wrestled on Raw. The former NXT Champion was on the sideline dealing with a shoulder injury earlier this year, but otherwise he’s waiting for a creative direction.

That news from Fightful Select, who reported that Gargano is no longer dealing with an injury while also adding that he was “factored in to recent creative plans in WWE.”

There were some other reports that Gargano might not be able to compete at SummerSlam due to injury, but that’s false. However, it’s not officially known if he’ll be a part of SummerSlam at this point.

The Fightful story also noted that Gargano was backstage at arecent WWE Raw event in Cleveland, which is hometown. While Gargano was originally scheduled to be on the show in some capacity, creative plans were changed and Gargano wasn’t used on the show.

One of the popular rumors regarding Gargano’s future in WWE is to have him reunite with Tommaso Ciampa, who recently returned to the ring after about nine months on the shelf due to a hip injury.

When Gargano and Ciampa teamed up in NXT, they were called #DIY (Do It Yourself) and were NXT Tag Team Champions. It’s unknown if they will reunite as a team on Raw or if there is some other creative direction for Gargano.
