WWE Raw: Adam Pearce Reveals Explosive Line-Up For Houston Show
Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, is the home of the April 6 episode of WWE Raw.
While spreading Easter wishes, General Manager Adam Pearce promised via his Instagram account an explosive show with multiple combustible elements coming together.
Only two episodes of the red brand remain before WWE goes live with WrestleMania 42 on April 18 & 19.
Seth Rollins will open the show on Monday after he was blindsided by Gunther last week. The Ring General put Rollins in his chokehold submission following The Visionary’s attack on Paul Heyman with a steel chair.
In doing so, Gunther also challenged The Visionary for a match at WrestleMania, which was made official later in the evening. Amid speculations, it has yet to be confirmed whether The Career Killer is officially a member of The Vision.
World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, too, will share his thoughts, having put Roman Reigns through the commentator’s desk a week ago.
Pearce also announced that both Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi will be in the arena. During their last confrontation, Triple H was forced to enter the ring to prevent potential mayhem between the two superstars.
3 Matches Made Official For WWE Raw
Adam Pearce has made three matches official for the Houston taping.
Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh will face his former stablemate and mentor Finn Balor in a singles match. A couple of weeks ago, Balor attacked McDonagh during Dominik Mysterio’s Intercontinental Championship match loss against Penta.
While McDonagh is scheduled for a WrestleMania Ladder match with the IC title on the line, Balor and Mysterio will go one-on-one at the Show of Shows.
Also on Raw, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky will team up to face Michin and B-Fab. On SmackDown, Sky came to the aid of Ripley after Michin, B-Fab, and Jade Cargill attacked her tag partner.
One-half of the newly crowned WWE Tag Team Champions, Austin Theory, will face LA Knight in a singles match as well.
