WWE Planning To Debut New Superstar
A new WWE superstar, who may be affiliated with The Bloodline, is set to make his debut very soon.
On the first episode of WWE Smackdown after WrestleMania 40 on April 12, former NJPW superstar Tama Tonga made his debut on Smackdown as he assisted Solo Sikoa in destroying Solo’s brother Jimmy Uso.
According to a report from PWInsider Elite, the debut of Jacob Fatu could be happening very soon. Their report notes that Fatu’s WWE debut could happen this week. There are members of the company’s creative circles who noted that Jacob could make his WWE TV debut on Smackdown this Friday in Cincinnati. After that, Jacob would be considered a regular wrestler on the main roster going forward.
There were reports about Jacob Fatu signing with WWE earlier in April and it appears that the company’s creative team led by Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque is working hard to involve Jacob in main roster plans.
Fatu has been wrestling since 2012 and signed with MLW in 2019. During his nearly five-year run with Court Bauer’s promotion, Fatu held the company’s World Title and was considered one of its top stars.
WWE Newcomer Jacob Fatu Could Join The Bloodline
If the name Fatu sounds familiar it’s because it’s the same last name of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi. Jacob’s father is Sam Fatu aka The Tonga Kid, which makes him a nephew of Rikishi. That also means he’s a cousin of Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso. It also means Jacob is related to Roman Reigns as well since he is cousins with The Usos.
While the report from PWInsider doesn’t officially state that Jacob Fatu will join The Bloodline, it certainly is a strong possibility due to his family ties.
This Friday’s Smackdown on April 26th in Cincinnati is also the start of the WWE Draft and it will continue on the April 29th edition of WWE Raw.
