WWE News: Matches/Segments Announced for Monday’s Raw, Lex Luger “WWE Icons” Documentary Delayed

Here are the matches and segments that WWE is advertising for Monday’s July 5th edition of Raw.

* WWE Champion Bobby Lashley & MVP vs. The New Day – Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods

* Ricochet vs. John Morrison

* Miz TV hosted by The Miz with guests John Morrison, Ricochet, Drew McIntyre & Riddle

* Charlotte Flair set to provide a medical update on Raw

TJR Thoughts: WWE was originally advertising Lashley vs. Woods in a rematch from two weeks ago, but now they are advertising a tag team match. It would be MVP’s first match since he suffered a knee injury several months ago.

WWE Icons: Lex Luger Documentary Delayed

There was going to be a WWE Icons documentary about Lex Luger that would debut tomorrow, July 4th. There were preview clips posted by WWE all week and the documentary above was posted by WWE this past Monday. Now the documentary will not air on Sunday at all.

It is being reported by PWInsider that WWE decided to not air the documentary on Sunday because they want to support it with a stronger lead-in. That could mean they wait until the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in two weeks.

They usually air Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions interviews after PPVs and Austin’s next one is with Kevin Nash, so it will be interesting to see what airs after Money in the Bank in two weeks. Anyway, the news here is about Luger’s documentary being delayed.
