Could Vince McMahon be on his way back to WWE?

The former WWE Chairman initially retired from the Stamford-based promotion in 2022 amid allegations of misconduct. However, he returned in January of the following year to sell the company to Endeavor.

Although he initially remained the executive chairman of TKO, the 80-year-old stepped down and left the company again in 2024 after being sued by former employee Janel Grant for alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking.

Randy Orton earned a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania after winning the 2026 Men’s Elimination Chamber. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre to capture the title a few weeks ago. The American Nightmare and The Viper are now set to clash at the Show of Shows.

Ahead of their showdown, Orton turned on his former friend. The Viper also teased having a mystery ally, as he was seen speaking to that person on the phone on multiple occasions.

Last night on RAW, Stephanie McMahon confronted Rhodes to warn him about Orton. The heated conversation saw The Billion Dollar Princess slap the Undisputed Champion after the latter referenced her father.

Speaking on The Last Word podcast, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci and his co-host, Gabby LaSpisa, addressed the possibility of Vince McMahon getting revealed as Orton’s secret ally. Carlucci admitted that he would love that scenario, claiming the roof would blow off.

Gabby: I didn’t really understand what the outcome of that [Stephanie & Rhodes’ promo] was supposed to be, what they’re planting in this storyline. But the one thing I can think of, and I said this to you pre-show, and I feel like I blew your mind a little bit, was, you know, what if Stephanie knows or has an inkling of who Randy is on the phone with, and it’s her father.

Carlucci: Oh my God, I would love that a thousand times over. I imagine if it was the chairman. Oh my God, that place would blow off. The roof would literally blow off.
