WWE Legend Shockingly Returns On RAW; Gets Added To WrestleMania 42 Ladder Match

WWE WrestleMania 42 is set to feature some exciting title matches on the show, including a huge ladder match that will see Penta defend his Intercontinental Championship.

The match was set to feature four other competitors which included Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, and Rusev, before a WWE legend made his shocking return to Monday Night RAW tonight.

Evans and Lee teamed up with Penta tonight, and they took on Los Americanos in a winning effort. As the trio was celebrating their win, they were interrupted by a returning legend.

Rey Mysterio returns to WWE RAW tonight

Rey Mysterio, who was last seen at the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, had been missing from WWE television before making a surprising return to the red brand tonight.

He greeted all three competitors in the ring warmly, before hyping up Penta’s upcoming championship defense at WrestleMania 42, before making a major announcement.

Mysterio informed Penta that he spoke to Adam Pearce and realized that the match lacked one more competitor and that occupancy would be filled by Rey Mysterio himself, making it a six-man ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
