WWE Legend Reveals Why He’ll Never Badmouth The McMahons
This former WWE star is a devout professional who doesn’t wish to spark controversies.
Legendary wrestler Devon (D-Von) Dudley, one-half of the memorable tag team The Dudley Boyz, is always known to have been a staunch professional inside the ring and behind the scenes.
The former WWE Tag Team Champion has always been respectful of his employers and has never publicly come out with any dirt on the company owners or his peers. Because of this, he’s been subject to a lot of criticism online from fans who feel that Dudley is very protective of the image of the McMahons and the WWE and won’t expose any old stories like many other wrestlers do after cutting off their association with the company.
Devon was clear in stating that people are not going to hear dirt from him because there was no dirt to tell. He admitted that although the company may not have been perfect, they were there when it mattered most to him.
Devon Dudley Claims He Has No Dirt On WWE Or The McMahons
Speaking on the Devon And The Duke podcast, Dudley cleared the air and said that his respect for WWE comes from real experiences and not favouritism. He said that he’s not one to fly off at the mouth if he was upset by something, and it’s this professionalism that contributes to his longevity in the business.
Everybody loves controversy. Everybody would love to hear the dirt – if there is dirt. There is no dirt for me to tell on the McMahons.
Why would I say anything bad about a company that bought this house and put four kids through college? Please tell me.
Why would I shoot myself in the foot because of pride? You think that’s okay? The minute you get upset, you gotta fly off at the mouth? No – I don’t do business like that. This is exactly why I’ve lasted for as long as I have – because I think twice before I speak.
If you’re going to hear me talk about them, you’re not going to hear dirt because there is no dirt to tell.
