WWE Clash in Italy was the promotion’s first-ever Premium Live Event to take place in Italy, and they went all out for the show. Several major stars competed at the show as the card featured some rematches from WrestleMania 42.

The PLE in Italy saw Rhea Ripley take on Jade Cargill, just as she did at the Show of Shows. However, this time it was The Eradicator who defended the WWE Women’s Championship, rather than Cargill.

They wrestled an entertaining match where Ripley emerged victorious once again after receiving some help from Charlotte Flair, who took out B-Fab and Michin, allowing Rhea to beat Jade inside the ring.

Rhea Ripley’s injury announcement was made on WWE SmackDown

Following her emphatic victory over The Storm, Rhea came out to SmackDown last week and was spotted wearing a knee brace. She announced to the fans that she’s a little banged up following the Clash in Italy.

As Friday Night SmackDown kicked off tonight, WWE confirmed that Ripley suffered a knee injury while in Italy, and the medical team is evaluating her condition following this development.
