WWE legend Jeff Hardy opens up about his addiction struggles.

Hardy battled drug and alcohol addiction, which spanned over a decade and deeply affected his career in WWE, TNA/Impact, and AEW. But he has since gotten sober and now speaks about it as a major turning point in his life.

Speaking on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, the WWE icon talked about how his drug and alcohol addiction cost him his wrestling career multiple times, but he bounced back and rebuilt himself every time. He added that he has no more comebacks left in him, hinting that if he relapses again, then it’s going to be the end of his wrestling career forever:

“And looking back at it, even with the ups and downs, I’ve had such an incredible career. I’ve burned it down, you know, to have to rebuild a few times, and that hasn’t been easy at all. It’s been tough. I don’t have any more comebacks in me, man. This is the last time I’ve burned it down. I’ve rebuilt to be here to not burn it down again, man. I’ve been so blessed to be on the other side of all my issues with drugs and alcohol.”

WWE Legend Jeff Hardy Reveals Injury

In a recent interview with the Budget Cut podcast, Jeff Hardy revealed that he has been dealing with an injury since they lost the NXT Tag Team Titles to DarkState (Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin) at NXT Halloween Havoc. Despite his injury, he’s continued to wrestle and entertain his fans.

Jeff said, “What’s different about me this year, I’ve been dealing with an injury since we dropped the titles at NXT. I actually have two bulging disks on the left side of my neck. It’s definitely better than it was at first, but we’ve been slower for two months now, and that’s a little stress creator for me. I’m cleared. I can go. I just have to be safe.”
