WWE Has “Long-Term Plans” For Jey Uso

Jey Uso WWE SummerSlam entrance

A new report sheds light on WWE’s plans for Jey Uso, including why he moved to Monday Night Raw.

For most of his career, Jey Uso was linked with his brother Jimmy and seemed destined for a future in tag team wrestling.

However, since leaving The Bloodline, Jey has stepped out on his own. After quitting SmackDown back in August, the star joined the red brand as revealed by Cody Rhodes at Payback. Uso hasn’t found great success, however, as he’s been defeated in both of his matches on Raw so far.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, though, WWE is set to launch Jey Uso into superstardom. When Fightful asked about any potential plans to end Roman Reigns’ record-breaking run as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, WWE sources indicated that the members of The Bloodline were key building blocks in the company, and sources indicated confidence that the Bloodline story would help make Jey Uso a star in the singles division.

Jey Uso Set To Be Heavily Featured On WWE Raw

Continuing, the report notes that Uso’s move to Monday Night Raw was a big part in helping him achieve superstardom, and that the company has long-term plans for him with the “wheels already in motion.” According to WWE sources, the company’s plans will see Jey heavily featured and he will be getting a lot of screen time over at least the next two months. Officials are said to be very happy with the reactions Uso has been getting as of late.
