WWE Hall Of Famer’s Big Role Revealed On TNA’s AMC Debut

This WWE legend will feature in a big way on next week’s episode of Impact Wrestling.

TNA has signed a new deal with the AMC network, where their flagship show, Impact, will begin airing this week. TNA Impact was previously aired on AXS TV, but now the brand is moving to a larger network with the new deal.

The stacked card for the event is already out, with three championships slated to be defended on the show, namely the TNA X-Division Championship, the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship, and the TNA World Championship.

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) is set to play a major role in the event, as he’ll be in commentary for the main event bout between Frankie Kazarian and Mike Santana for the TNA World Title.

Bully Ray last appeared with Devon against Matt and Jeff Hardy in a tables match at TNA Bound For Glory. The bout was billed as a retirement match for Team 3-D (The Dudleyz).

WWE Star AJ Styles Slated To Make TNA Appearance

Another current WWE star who is set to make an appearance is TNA Legend AJ Styles. Styles, who was integral to the company during its formative years, is set to take the stage on the occasion of the AMC premiere.

The Phenomenal One was last seen on Monday Night Raw in a match with Gunther that the latter set up after he was slapped across the face by Styles last week. Styles went into the bout saying that he would teach Gunther how to show respect, especially after how cocky The Ring General has been acting since making John Cena tap out last year.

The match ended interestingly with Gunther tapping out to Styles’ submission move outside of the referee’s vision. This led Styles to break the hold, thinking he’d won the match. The referee then went to the announcer to declare that the bout would continue when Gunther hit Styles with a low blow behind the referee’s back, followed by a devastating powerbomb to pick up the win.
