WWE SmackDown could be seeing some changes to its roster, and this legendary star could become part of it once again.

Now that WrestleMania 42 is done and dusted, new storylines and new feuds will take shape in WWE. For this to happen, some stars need to move from one brand to another.

A new update has emerged saying that SmackDown could be getting a refresh. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports a presentation update for the blue brand in WWE.

The update that is currently being discussed could include Jacy Jayne being added to the roster and even WWE legend and Hall of Famer, Rey Mysterio.

Mysterio has been a part of Raw in recent times, but he originally was part of SmackDown during his run with the company in the 2000s.

As per the report, the SmackDown logo, theme song, and set design are expected to stay the same.

WWE SmackDown After WrestleMania 42 Takes Place In Texas

The SmackDown after WrestleMania will be live from Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

According to WWE.com, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, and Randy Orton are scheduled to appear on the April 24th episode.

The fallout from WrestleMania is expected to continue with fans wanting to hear from. Randy Orton, after his punt kick on Cody Rhodes following his title match loss.

Trick Williams was crowned the new United States Champion as he defeated Sami Zayn at the Showcase of the Immortals. It would be interesting to see if Zayn goes after Williams again or if Trick’s old rival, Carmelo Hayes, who lost the title to Zayn, has a say in it.

Jade Cargill will be without the WWE Title as she lost it to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42. The Eradicator was seen in tag team action this past Monday on Raw against The Kabuki Warriors alongside IYO SKY. SKY and Ripley were seen parting ways towards the end of the episode, which could mean that Ripley could also make an appearance on SmackDown.

Drew McIntyre will be reeling after his loss to Jacob Fatu. He is slated to be on the show, and one can only wonder where his character’s direction is headed next.

Last but not least, Cody Rhodes is set to appear on SmackDown. Fans will expect Rhodes to give them an update on his eye injury, which he suffered at the hands of Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42.
