WWE Star Surprisingly Enjoyed Brock Lesnar Moment In Royal Rumble
A WWE superstar enjoyed interacting with Brock Lesnar in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
The WWE Royal Rumble PLE in Riyadh saw Brock Lesnar return to the ring for the first time in two months since he was on the winning team in the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.
In the Royal Rumble match, Lesnar entered at #22 and lasted just 5:32 in the match. Lesnar had three eliminations – Rey Fenix, Ilja Dragunov and Oba Femi. Unfortunately for Lesnar, he was eliminated by Cody Rhodes and LA Knight, who hit Lesnar with a double clothesline to knock “The Beast” out.
Since Lesnar-Femi interacted and Lesnar eliminated Femi from the Rumble, it has led to speculation that Lesnar could face Femi at WrestleMania 42. Since Lesnar is about 20 years older than Femi, it would be a passing of the torch moment to have Femi face off against Lesnar.
As for Dragunov, many fans didn’t like that he chopped Lesnar repeatedly and Lesnar no sold it. After the chops, Lesnar dumped Dragunov over the top to the floor.
On his Instagram story, former US Champion Ilja Dragunov commented that his interaction with Lesnar was his favorite moment from the Royal Rumble match.
Roman Reigns Mocked Brock Lesnar Before Royal Rumble
One of Brock Lesnar’s greatest rivals in WWE is Roman Reigns since the two men have battled many times over the last decade, including multiple WrestleMania main events with major championships on the line.
During an interview before the Royal Rumble PLE, the Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns joked about how he didn’t think Brock Lesnar knew how to use a phone properly.
“I’m still caught on the fact that Brock knows how to work FaceTime. I mean, you know what I mean? Like, I’m just, that’s tripping me. I didn’t even know he had a phone. I fig, you know what I mean?
Like, I thought it was like old school. You had to call the farm and then like the farm hand would come and then he would go to the lead farm guy and then, you know what I mean? So, I’m surprised he even works the phone.”
There’s no word yet on when Lesnar might appear on WWE TV again, but he is likely going to be involved in WrestleMania 42 since he’s also featured in a commercial for the event.
