WWE Makes Huge Cody Rhodes Announcement For Elimination Chamber

Cody Rhodes was present on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, and he furthered his feud with Drew McIntyre. 

The Undisputed WWE Champion went on a rant against Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, and Cody Rhodes on the blue show, and it was not taken kindly by any of them.

The Scottish Warrior was attacked by both The Samoan Werewolf and The American Nightmare at different points during the show.

Cody Rhodes still has the chance to challenge Drew McIntyre

The Undisputed WWE Champion claimed that Rhodes and Fatu should not be allowed to compete for a spot in the Elimination Chamber. Since whoever wins can challenge a champion for SummerSlam.

Now, WWE has announced that Rhodes, Jacob Fatu, and Sami Zayn will work a Triple Threat Match on the February 13th, 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown. Whoever wins will qualify for the Elimination Chamber match.

This also means that either Rhodes or Fatu will not be in the Elimination Chamber match, and hence will not be a part of the Undisputed WWE Championship storyline leading into SummerSlam 2026.
