WWE Star CM Punk Has A Serious Issue With Roman Reigns: “Why Can’t Roman?”

One of CM Punk’s primary issues with Roman Reigns is that Reigns works a part-time schedule despite being a full-timer in WWE.

Punk has often criticized Reigns for his light schedule, saying that if The Original Tribal Chief truly cared about the company or his fans, then he would be in the ring every week rather than showing up occasionally.

Punk is set to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Ahead of his scheduled title defense, Punk sat down for an exclusive interview with Corey Graves, where he discussed his upcoming WrestleMania showdown.

CM Punk Criticizes Roman Reigns for Not Showing Up Weekly on WWE TV

While addressing his rivalry with Roman Reigns, Punk stated that he respects his rival for putting his family above everything else. He then criticized Roman for his part-time schedule.

Punk added that, as one of the top WWE superstars, Roman needs to be a regular presence on weekly shows, as it is his responsibility to show up for his fans.

I think anybody would be a fool to not look at Roman and respect the fact that he puts his family above everything else. I love that. I love the fact that he can say, my kids will never know what not having their father around is like, ’cause he did that with Sika, his cousins with Rikishi and countless other of the Samoan greats. And I think that’s great. He has his priorities and they’re right.

But it’s real hard to sit back and look at a man who will do that and be a part-timer and think that that’s okay. Because there is a responsibility that comes not only with being a WWE superstar, with being a champion, this is about pro wrestling versus cinema. [H/T Ringside News]
