6-Time WWE Champion’s Career Isn’t Over Despite 3-Year Hiatus
This former WWE Champion could make a return, hints her partner.
Carmella is a WWE Diva who had a 12-year stint with the Stamford-based company. She began her career in NXT and quickly climbed up the ranks with her great mic skills and in-ring ability. She was initially paired with the tag team of Enzo and Big Cass, but carved out a way for her singles career soon.
She was the first person to win the Women’s Money in the Bank match and cashed in the briefcase to become SmackDown Women’s Champion in 2018.
At 38-years old, Carmella, who is married to WWE commentator Corey Graves, recently gave birth to their second child. She stepped away from wrestling to focus on her family, and Graves talked about his wife and the status of her return when he spoke to Bill Apter on 1WrestlingVideo.
In the interview, Graves praises his wife and tells everyone that they have not seen the last of Carmella, but at the moment, they are busy raising the next Road Warriors, he quipped.
She’s fantastic; she’s fabulous. She’s taking motherhood very seriously; she’s killing it. I don’t think we’ve heard the last of her in this realm… We got some time. She’s got her hands full now though. We’re raising the new Road Warriors basically. That’s the plan.
Carmella Underwent Surgery Recently Amid WWE Return Rumours
The Princess of Staten Island recently underwent upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery to get rid of bags below her eyes.
Carmella says that she has never liked dark circles or bags below her eyes since childhood, so she wanted to get rid of them and underwent this procedure.
Notably, Carmella also called out B3CCA for using her submission move Code of Silence, which B3CCA performed a variation of in a match against Kris Statlander in AEW.
While reacting to the clip of this moment, she said that she isn’t retired and might come back to show how it’s actually done.
