This former WWE Star says he has retired from in-ring action.

Levi Cooper, better known in WWE as Tucker, was a 2-time 24/7 Champion. He was famously part of a tag team called Heavy Machinery with current WWE star Otis. The pair debuted on the main roster in 2018 after doing some work in NXT.

The tag team had to be disbanded after the WWE drafts of 2020, when Tucker was drafted to Raw and Otis had to stay on SmackDown. Later that month, at Hell in a Cell, Tucker betrayed Otis and cost him his money in the bank, which the latter lost to the Miz after Tucker hit Otis with the briefcase.

WWE later released Tucker, but Otis continues and is currently part of a tag team called Alpha Academy with Akira Tozawa. Tucker then wrestled some matches under his real name, Levi Cooper, including appearances for DEFY Wrestling.

In October 2024, it was confirmed that Cooper had retired from professional wrestling and had no plans to return.

Cooper was speaking at a virtual signing at K & S WrestleFest recently, where he was asked about his retirement and if he would get back into the ring.

When asked whether he was still wrestling in DEFY, Cooper cleared up any doubts, saying that he has retired.

No. No, I don’t wrestle anymore at all… Yeah, yeah, retired.

He then explains one dream scenario in which he could make a return to the ring, and that’s if his former tag team partner, Otis, works with him in a Japanese promotion.

Would consider coming back, which I’ve said before, in a pipe dream, if someday — and I hope that the opportunity never presents itself and Otis will just continue to do his thing in WWE. That’s my brother. But, if we could go to Japan, that would be pretty awesome. I’ll be up for that.

When it was suggested to Cooper that this could mean that he’s not retired, he clarified his position yet again.

No. No. I’m coaching high school wrestling, I’m doing Auto Glass, I’m taking care of my two kids so, that’s good from here.

Back in 2024, Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda Wrestling spoke to Tucker, who confirmed his retirement.

I just spoke with former WWE star Tucker of fka Heavy Machinery. He said that he has retired from professional wrestling and does not plan to return. He is currently a high school wrestling coach & raising his two kids. Best wishes.

Otis, meanwhile, recently wrestled rising star Oba Femi during his Oba Femi open challenge and got squashed by the Ruler.
