WWE Announces Talking Smack Returning to WWE Network This Week – Hosted by Kayla Braxton and Xavier Woods

The rumors are true. WWE Talking Smack on WWE Network is back this week. It was reported by PWInsider earlier in the week that it was coming back (our post on it is here) and it’s true. However, it won’t be airing right after Smackdown this week.

Here are the official details from WWE.com:

Return of the Smack.

Beginning tomorrow morning, WWE Talking Smack will be back in the lives of the WWE Universe and available to stream anytime on the Free Version of WWE Network.

Join hosts Kayla Braxton and Xavier Woods as they welcome your favorite Superstars and react to what promises to be an exciting episode of Friday Night SmackDown as it makes its debut inside the WWE ThunderDome just two days before SummerSlam.

Don’t miss the return of Talking Smack, streaming on demand Saturday morning on the Free Version of WWE Network!

The previous version that of Talking Smack began in July 2016 and lasted for about one year with Renee Young as the main host and Daniel Bryan was usually the co-host, but that changed sometimes.

Xavier Woods of the New Day has been out of action since October 2019 when he suffered a Torn Achilles in his foot and had surgery. It’s a major injury that often times requires about a year to come back from. No return date has been announced for him, but if you missed him then at least you get to see him on Talking Smack. Woods also remains busy running the Up Up Down Down Youtube channel (the channel has 2.2 million subscribers and nearly 360 million views) and he’s married with two young kids as well.

Kayla Braxton has a lot of WWE hosting experience and is a regular backstage interviewer on Smackdown.

They should make a great team if you want more Smackdown content with superstar interviews.
