WWE AAA Worlds Collide 2025 Results
WWE-AAA Words Collide featured several huge matches, headlined by El Hijo Del Vikingo against Chad Gable in the main event.
The WWE-AAA Worlds Collide event took place at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. There’s a 3 p.m. ET start time, which is 12 p.m. ET locally in Los Angeles. It aired for free on WWE’s YouTube channel in both English and Spanish.
This will be a results post rather than a detailed TJR review. I will do a more detailed TJR review either on Sunday or Monday.

A video package narrated by Rey Mysterio covered WWE’s acquisition of AAA from earlier this year.
The English commentary team consisted of Corey Graves and wrestling legend Konnan, who is also part of the AAA creative team. The Spanish commentary team was also shown. Lilian Garcia was the ring announcer.
There were national anthems sung for Mexico and the United States with Lilian Garcia singing the US version. WWE executives Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Shawn Michaels were in the ring for the anthems, along with Blue Demon Jr. and Marisela Pena from AAA.
The legendary WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, who is currently out of action with an injury, did a speech welcoming us to the show. He spoke in English and Spanish. Rey discussed being part of the revolution and expressed his pride in seeing WWE involved with AAA for this event.
Match #1: Octagón Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana defeated Latino World Order (Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro) and Lince Dorado by pinfall. Octagon Jr. got the pin after hitting a moonsault fallaway slam on Dorado for the win.
After the match, the Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio and Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan appeared at ringside. Dominik trashed Octagon for being a big Rey Mysterio fan while reminding us that Rey is a deadbeat and Dominik is your champion. Dominik trashed Rey in Spanish, too. Octagon got in Dominik’s face, so Dominik shoved him, and Octagon pulled Dominik over the barricade. Dominik and Octagon got into a fight in the ring, exchanging punches. Referees showed up to try to break it up.
Dominik Mysterio picked up the microphone to say that he was going to see Octagon at Money in the Bank. Dominik said he’ll make sure to put the Intercontinental Title on the line. Dominik said he’d see Octagon tonight.

A video package aired paying tribute to Antonio Pena for creating and launching AAA. It said 35 years later, the Pena/Roldan families are carrying on the tradition of Lucha Libre. Konnan said that he knows the late, great Antonio is looking down, and he is happy.
There was an interview with Legado Del Fantasma about their tag team match coming up later.
They showed Mascarita Sagrada, Latin Lover and musician That Mexican OT at ringside.
Match #2: Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice defeated Chik Tormenta and Dalys by pinfall. Vaquer and Vice each did the Devil’s Kiss at the same time during the match, which drew a big ovation from the crowd. Vaquer hit the SVB on Dalys for the win.

After the match, Lola Vice and Stephanie Vaquer were interviewed in the ring. They spoke in Spanish. Vaquer ended it by saying she would be Miss Money in the Bank.
Chad Gable was interviewed backstage. Chad said he would be the AAA Mega Champion and El Grande Americano would win Money in the Bank.
Former WWE superstar Chavo Guerrero and WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) were shown at ringside.
The next match was Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto) vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown.
Match #3: Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto) defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown by pinfall. There were a lot of nearfalls by Escobar and Wagner in the final few minutes. Escobar hit a jumping knee, and a Phantom Driver for the pinfall win.
A video package aired about the “When Worlds Collide” PPV from 1994, featuring WCW and AAA wrestlers. Konnan spoke in the video about how people still consider it one of the best PPVs ever. Konnan discussed how it was a big night for wrestlers like himself, Rey Mysterio, Psychosis, Eddie Guerrero, and many others.
The AAA Mega Champion El Hijo Del Vikingo was interviewed by Vero Rodriguez, who is married to WWE’s Finn Balor. Vikingo spoke about how he’s ready to face Chad Gable and Vero translated it for us.
They showed WWE legend Savio Vega at ringside alongside former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. The legendary Blue Demon Jr. was also sitting at ringside.
Match #4: NXT North American Championship – Ethan Page defeated Laredo Kid, Rey Fenix and Je’Von Evans by pinfall. Fenix hit a Spanish Fly on Kid off the top and Page hit an Ego’s Edge on Fenix for two, but Evans hit a springboard elbow off the top to break up the pin. Evans hit a springboard Cutter off the top on Kid. Page threw Evans out of the ring where Fenix was. Page hit Twisted Grin (like a Diamond Cutter) on Kid for the pinfall win.

A video aired about how WWE has been doing WrestleMania for over 40 years while AAA has been doing Triplemania for over 30 years. The video focused on the history of Triplemania. They promoted Triplemania 33 on August 16th.
There was a video package to set up El Hijo Del Vikingo against Chad Gable in the main event.
The comedian Gabriel “Fluffy Guy” Iglesias was shown watching at ringside.
Who Won The WWE-AAA Worlds Collide Main Event?
The AAA Mega Championship was on the line as El Hijo Del Vikingo defended the title against WWE’s Chad Gable.
Match #5: AAA Mega Championship – El Hijo Del Vikingo defeated Chad Gable by pinfall. Gable was selling a right arm injury throughout the match. Vikingo jumped off the top of the ring post and he gave Gable a Mexican Destroyer on the ring apron. It only got a two count. There was a table set up on the floor and Gable hit a moonsault off the top to put Vikingo through the table. Vikingo was fighting through a left knee injury and he hit a Reverse Rana off the middle turnbuckle. Vikingo hit a Meteora double knee attack. Vikingo hit a 630 Splash off the top for the pinfall win.

El Hijo Del Vikingo celebrated with the AAA Mega Championship while Mexican wrestlers and other babyface wrestlers joined him in the ring.
