Worrying Claim Made About Triple H’s Future In WWE By Ex-Champion
A wrestling veteran made an unsettling claim regarding Triple H’s future in the WWE. The veteran in discussion is the former WCW World Champion, Vince Russo.
Triple H has been the head of the WWE creative and the Chief Content Officer (CCO) of the company since 2022. Over the past few years, there have been mixed reactions to The Game’s creative regime. He faced a lot of backlash online over the past year for some of the creative decisions. Many fans were worried that the TKO group could remove The Cerebral Assassin from the CCO role due to a lot of heat on him.
Nevertheless, Triple H recently signed a contract extension and will continue as the WWE CCO for the foreseeable future. However, the former WWE head writer, Vince Russo had recently suggested that The Game could still be fired by the TKO group despite his contract renewal, while giving an example from sports:
There has been so much heat coming down on Triple H from everywhere. Not just Vince Russo and Coach, everywhere, and this is a time where Nick Khan had to do something. This is giving the manager that vite of confidence, but don’t think for a second that at the end of the season, that manager won’t be let go. This happens in sports, we see this at least once a year in sports,” Russo stated.
Triple H could be on shaky ground, according to Vince Russo
During the recent episode of The Coach & Bro Show, Vince Russo was asked why Triple H didn’t do anything about the recent mass releases of talent from the WWE. Russo answered that The Game is worried about his own position and reiterated that he could be fired despite the recent contract extension:
Triple H is worried about his own job. Let’s face it. I don’t care, you can give me the old business ‘we gave him a contract extension,’ but they gave Bob Melvin a contract extension, and he was fired four months later.”
Vince Russo further claimed that Triple H is on shaky ground more than anyone else, so he won’t push back against the mass releases:
