TKO’s Real Backstage Stance On WWE CCO Triple H, According To Veteran

A WWE veteran reflected on TKO’s alleged stance on Triple H. The veteran in question is the former head writer in the Stamford-based promotion, Vince Russo.

Triple H has been in the position of WWE’s Chief Content Officer (CCO) for the past few years. He took over as the head of creative in 2022. However, following the deal between Stamford-based promotion and TKO after he took over, The Game apparently has to work according to the board of directors and the company CEO, Nick Khan.

WWE recently released more than 20 wrestlers from the company, and there was a debate within the wrestling community regarding whether the TKO group is solely responsible for the releases or whether Triple H also has something to do with the cuts. Meanwhile, Vince Russo presented a theory on how he thinks the process of releases goes down in the WWE and what TKO’s stance on the company’s CCO is.

Vince Russo on TKO’s potential stance on the WWE CCO Triple H

During the recent episode of The Coach & Bro Show, Jonathan Coachman asked Vince Russo whether TKO tells the WWE CCO Triple H about the release before or after. Russo claimed that TKO is telling The Game before releasing people. Russo also opened up on how fans perceive Hunter:

I would have to think that they’re telling him before they do it, I would have to think that. See, here’s the problem in all this, guys. You know, us in the wrestling business, we look at Triple H as being all high and mighty. You know, he’s the face, he’s in the Hall of Fame 87 times, you know, the whole nine yards.

Vince Russo further claimed that the TKO has the upper hand on Triple H, and they just perceive him as a wrestling guy:

To them, bro, Triple H is a wrestling guy. That’s all he is to them. Triple H isn’t to them what he is to wrestling fans. He’s a wrestling guy, and that’s why they’ll always have an upper hand over Triple H. They look at him as the wrestling guy. [from 25:57 onwards]

It will be interesting to see if The Cerebral Assassin will come out to address the claims about TKO’s stance on him.
