That’s all.

TJR THOUGHTS: The choices for everything here are fine, but I think it’s weird they went with Bray Wyatt.

Here’s how many televised matches for Bray Wyatt/The Fiend this year:
1. SummerSlam defeated Finn Balor
2. Hell in a Cell vs. Seth Rollins ended in a No Contest
3. Crown Jewel defeated Seth Rollins to win Universal Title
4. Survivor Series defeated Daniel Bryan
5. TLC defeated The Miz.
End list.

I know there’s more to WWE than just the matches, but for somebody to win Wrestler of the Year that didn’t wrestle in more than five televised matches is bizarre to me. Plus, it’s not like any of those matches were that great. It feels like an odd choice.

I’m not going to editorialize much more than that. I’ll save my hot takes when I post the 2019 WWE Johnny Awards on December 30. Cheap plug alert. Thanks for reading.
